The app
Awake is a native macOS menu bar app made by plain d. Dawid Woźniak, a sole proprietorship registered in Poland. It keeps your Mac’s screen awake when you turn it on or set a sunset timer. By downloading or using it you agree to these terms.
Independent project
Awake is not affiliated with, endorsed by or related to any other keep-awake app, including Amphetamine. Those names belong to their respective owners.
License
You may install and use the app on Macs you own or control, for personal or work use. You may not sell it or present it as your own. Awake is proprietary software. © 2026 plain d. Dawid Woźniak, all rights reserved.
Purchases
There is no checkout on this site yet. A purchase, and the terms of sale, will be set out here when sales start.
No warranty
The app is provided as is, without warranties of any kind.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
Changes and ending
We may update the app or these terms. You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of Poland. Disputes go to the courts that have jurisdiction under Polish law. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, or your right to bring a claim there. Questions: dawid@plaind.pl.
